First Cord Blood Transplant 20th Anniversary Celebration Lifeline Cryogenics, Connecticut's only Cord Blood Bank announces the 20th anniversary of the first cord blood transplant. The recipient who has been diagnosed with Fanconi's Anemia at the age of 5 and was transplanted with his sister's cord blood, Matthew Farrow, is now a healthy 26-year-old.
